I too believe that what is good for your stomach is good enough for your skin. Here are some home remedies that are as simple to make as your daily cooking. C FOR CARROT
Carrots are rich in vitamin A and help to maintain healthy skin. Carrot juice is also useful in preventing acne.
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 bunch wheat grass
Grind the ingredients together with very little water and extract the juice.
Apply this juice on face, then splash with cold water. Repeat two or three times daily.
C FOR CUCUMBER
Cucumber works as an astringent, cooling and brightening agent for skin.
- 2 small green cucumbers
- 1 tsp. fresh lime juice
Grate cucumbers and add lime juice.
Apply as mask, using a sterilized gauze to hold it in place. Wash off with cold water.
C FOR COCONUT
Great for the hair. It helps prevent hair loss and helps to darken hair.
Remedy for hair loss
- 1 cup coconut, grated,
- 1/4 cup neem leaves
- 1/4 cup fenugreek leaves
Grind the ingredients, using very little water, to extract a thick juice.
Apply the juice all over scalp and hair. It softens and darkens hair. It also helps strengthen weak strands of hair.
