Z FOR ZIZYPHUS (BER)

The fruit of this tree is hard, orange or reddish brown in colour. It is edible and has a hard seed. The leaves of this tree are very useful in treating various ailments like mouth disorders.
Remedy for bleeding gums
Boil the leaves with a little salt and gargle well with the infusion.

Remedy for boils
The leaves can be ground into a paste and applied for stubborn boils on hands and feet.

To darken hair
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ber leaves,
- 1 cup curry leaves
Method:
Grind the leaves together and massage into scalp and hair. This could be done almost three to four times a week. It acts as a cleanser too and hence there is no need to shampoo hair after using this juice.
