Neer Dosa

Ingredients

1 cup rice soaked for 6 hours

1/2 cup fresh grated coconut

salt to taste

Method

Grind the soaked ingredients into a smooth paste, adding salt.

Remove in a big bowl and add enough water to give it a thin pouring-like consistency.

Heat a pan. Take a brush and brush a little  oil on the pan. Take a small cup-like vessel, dip into into the batter and pour it all over the pan. At the same time turn your pan a little so as to spread the batter evenly. Keep a lid on for a few minutes. Remove and place it on thin bamboo plates or an upturned vessel so that air enters the dosa. After a couple of minutes, fold the dosa into three folds.

You can make neer dosa in your choice of colour by adding natural ingredients like beetroot and yellow carrot.
