All said and true for the lovely abode perched high above Ozran cliff with an unobstructed view of the vastness of blue. Welcome to Titlie Culinary Bar. As a descriptor, this is a place filled with loads of sunshine, a dash of laughter and cheer filled with food & drink that allows many butterflies to descend and sample offerings. Tarun Sibal is the mastermind behind the bar and food programme while Karthik and Shyam are the stalwarts who keep the show afoot.

As the sun sets in the distance, the eclectic bar programme comes into action. The golden sunset hour presents a heady concoction of the Honey & Peach Tea with Cîroc, Chamomile Tea, Raw Honey, Peach and Lemon. As one transitions right through sunsets, mystical in nature, the mood takes a turn to more happy locomotive beats and the night carries on. Special focus is given to the choicest produce under the watchful eyes of the programme run by the team. In the midst of all the happy highs, the aroma of classic offerings waft through the air from the tables nearby.

The Squash Hummus with Walnuts, Olives, Pomegranate Molasse, Croutons is a delight and pairs well with the recommended Pure Water – of Patron, orange peel, passion fruit washed with clarified Lemon & Sugar, a signature cocktail. The portion sizes are nourishing yet beckons one to order more. The Banana Leaf Steamed Snapper is an ode to the Tom Kha Patrani-styled preparation with heady zests of freshly procured garden lemon. For the boys from Delhi, one of their hidden signatures lie with the Yoghurt Cloud – Papdi Churi, Chutney, Masala, Herbs & Candy. This is a playful twist to ‘chaat tales’ from the capital and is a must-try. Or closer to home and heart is the Chur Chur Kulcha, a chicken jalapeno-stuffed kheema which would instantly bring a smile to your face.

Once happily intoxicated with these offerings, make sure to leave gut space for the Callebut Mudpie. This dark chocolate sorbet, laced with hazelnut & berries will give you wings on your way out transitioning you from a dormant cocoon to a colourful butterfly.
