Palak Patta Chaat

Ingredients

• 7-8 palak leaves

• 1 cup besan

• 2 tsp rice flour

• 2 tsp corn flour

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tsp red chilli powder

• 1 tsp haldi powder

• 1 tsp garam masala

• oil for frying

For garnishing

• 1/2 cup yogurt

• 1 tsp powdered sugar

• 2 tsp black salt

• 2 tbsp green chutney

• 2 tbsp sweet chutney

• 2 tbsp ginger juliennes

• 2 tbsp pomegranate

• 2 tsp roasted cumin powder

• 2 tsp chopped coriander

• 2 tsp coriander powder

• 2 tsp red chilli powder

 

Method

Wash and clean palak leaves and keep aside.

In a bowl, add rice flour, corn flour, salt, red chilli powder, haldi powder, garam masala, and water to make a smooth batter.

Coat palak leaves in besan batter and coat it completely and deep-fry till crisp.

Pour yogurt in a bowl and add powdered sugar, black salt, and mix it. Start with plating Palak Patta

Chaat. Place fried palak patta on the plate and top with black salt, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, yogurt mixture, green chutney, sweet chutney, chopped coriander, pomegranate, then repeat the process from start to make a second layer.

It’s ready to enjoy.
