Mutton Chops

Ingredients
1 kg mutton chops
5 medium onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste each
1 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp haldi powder

For the powdered spices
15 peppercorns
1 tsp jeera
8 cloves
1 inch cinnamon stick  
4 green cardamoms
2 tbsp ghee
juice of 1 lime

Method
In a cast iron kadhai heat ghee and add the onions. Sauté till the onions turn brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
Add chilli powder, haldi powder and the powdered spices and sauté again for a minute.
Add mutton chops and sauté for 5-6 minutes till the oil oozes.
Add salt and sauté again. Add a cup of water and cook till done.
