Prawns Khadkhadle

Ingredients

• 10 medium to large prawns

• 2 tbsp garlic paste

• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

• 1.5 tsp chilli powder

• 1.5 tsp Pathare Prabhu sambar masala

• 6 tbsp oil

• 1/2 cup water

• salt to taste

Method

Clean and devein the prawns.

Heat the oil in a shallow and wide pan.

Add the garlic paste and brown it.

Add the prawns, turmeric powder, chilli powder and the Pathare Prabhu sambar masala.

Stir lightly and add the water and cook on a low flame till the prawns are fully cooked.

Add salt to taste and serve.

Note: You could substitute the prawns with crabs or lobsters.
