Gulab aur Gulkand ki Kheer

Ingredients

•            1 ltr milk

•            2 tbsp rice

•            3 tbsp sugar

•            2 tbsp dry rose petals

•            50 g gulkand

•            25 g fresh rose petals

•            2 tbsp rose water

•            1 tbsp almond chopped

•            1 tbsp cashew, chopped

•            5 tbsp rose syrup 

Method

Boil the rice and milk in a deep pan.

Simmer over a low flame, stirring occasionally till the rice is cooked and the milk becomes thick. When done, add sugar, dry rose petals, fresh rose petals, and gulkand. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with almonds and cashews.

Serve hot or chilled.
