There is never a dull moment in Goa, if you don't want it. After you have soaked in the sun, relaxed sufficiently on the beach and the stars start to peep out in the night sky it is time to head toward the Mandovi River, the Caravela is docked. Caravela, which can accommodate 300 people is a 215 feet long, class VII, centrally air-conditioned cruise ship which sets sail at specified hours. It's a rather picturesque sojourn as the boat makes its way past the old secretariat (Adil Shah's Palace) fishing boats and charming old villas dotting the main Panjim road, and then into the Arabian Sea.
