Lobster Shack which is located at the wind-swept beachfront of Taj Exotica Goa is its prime sea food dining venue. This 70 cover restaurant serves the freshest sea food. Guests select their desired fish from the display. For dinner once you select your main course the appetizers, soup and dessert are part of the meal and guests help themselves from the buffet spread. This venue is simply stunning by day and at dinner-time the twinkling and bejewelled night sky takes over. Entertainment varies from a live band performing Jazz, Pop, Retro music to a String Quartet, and of course you have the sound of the waves serenading you.  Executive Chef Arun Sundararaj makes it a point to pick up the freshest catch from the market every morning. The sea food display has over 15 types of fish. Some of the hot favourites are the Red Snapper, Yellow Fin Tuna, Silver Pomfret, Sword Fish, Hammer Head Shark besides the regular squids, crabs, crayfish, cuttlefish and prawns. Guests select their choice of fish and have it cooked the way they like it along with a choice of Goan masala based sauces. Some of the hot favourites are the Rechaud masala, the peri peri sauce and cafreal sauce. To go with the sea food there is an attractive and extensive wine list at reasonable rates. For guests who like to indulge in the local flavour, feni is their ideal choice. The UK educated restaurant manager John Simpson makes it a point to personally interact with guests to ensure they have a memorable dining experience here.
