Ingredients:
750 gm whole chicken
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp kasoori methi
1 tsp chilli
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
60 ml mustard old
100 gm bandha hua dahi
400 gm tomatoes
10 gm green chilly
10 gm ginger
10 gm garlic
50 gm whole cashewnuts
10 gm butter
1 tsp honey
50 gm cream
50 gm khoya
salt to taste
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Procedure:
Wash the chicken thoroughly and cut the chicken into four pieces, insert the cuts to the chicken with the help of knife. Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, chilli, garam masala powder, curd, lemon juice and mustard oil rest it for 10-15 minutes. Insert it to the iron skewers and cook in tandoor till the chicken gets cooked 90 per cent. Boil ginger, garlic, green chilli, cashewnut along with tomatoes till it is well cooked and mashed. Strain it and grind the extract. Take another sauce pan put butter and heat it up. Add kasoori methi and the extract, khoya, 1/2 cup water, honey and lemon juice, stir it well. Put tandoori chicken and cook it for ten minutes till the chicken gets well cook. Finish with cream and serve hot and garnished with green chopped coriander.
