Ingredients:
500 gm fish
100 gm gram flour
1 service spoon ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
4 green chillies
10 gm green coriander
2 service spoons water
oil to deep fry
Procedure:
Wash the fish thoroughly and cut into pieces. Marinate the fish with ginger garlic paste, chilli and salt, keep it marinated for 10 minutes. Make a batter by using gram flour, garam masala, turmeric powder, green chillies, green coriander, salt and water. Heat the oil and deep fry the marinated fish till it turns to golden brown colour, serve hot with onions and mint sauce.
Fish Amritsari with gravy
For the Gravy: Chop the onions and tomatoes finely. Take the sauce pan put some oil and heat it up, add chopped garlic and chopped green chilly stir it well and add chopped onions cook it till the onions turn golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, salt to taste, degimirch, mustard powder, black pepper powder, and cook it, add finely chopped tomatoes till the masalas get well cooked and later add 200 gms water and lemon juice to it. Cook it on low flame for about five minutes. Add fried fish to the gravy and cook it for approximately five minutes. Garnish it with finely chopped green coriander, julienes of ginger.
