Nachni ki Shammi

Ingredients

100 g nachni/ragi, soaked overnight

60 g sweet potato, boiled

1/2 tsp garam masala powder

1 tsp jeera powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tbsp brown kaju paste

salt to taste

black salt to taste

1 tbsp roasted chana powder

1 tsp spring onion, chopped

1 tbsp hung yogurt

1 tsp coriander, chopped

1 chopped green chillies

 

Method

Take nachni and boil it for 15 minutes, then strain it and keep aside.

Then take boiled sweet potato and add boilednachni, garam masala, jeera powder, coriander powder, brown cashew paste, salt, black salt, roasted chana powder and mix it well.

For the stuffing

Now take a bowl, add hung yogurt, spring onion, coriander, green chilli and salt, mix it well.

Take nachni mixture and add the stuffing in it and make a normal-size tikki and shallow-fry in ghee on a non-stick pan till it gets a light brown colour.

Your NachnikiShammi is ready to serve.
