Jau ka Meetha

Ingredients

100 g jau, soaked overnight      

60 g black jaggery                       

2 tbsp ghee                                                                                

1 tsp edible gum                          

5 almonds                                     

50 ml water                

3-4 slices fried coconut

2-3 rose petals                             

                                                                          

Method

Take soaked jau and boil it for 15 minutes.

Strain it and keep aside.

Take a heavy-bottom pan, add ghee, black jaggery, edible gum, almond and boiled jau. Mix it well.

Now add water and bring it to a boil.

JaukaMeetha is ready. Garnish with sliced fried coconut, edible gum and rose petals.
