Honey Chilli Sauce
Ingredients
• 50 g dried red chilli
• 40 g scallion
• 40 g garlic
• 40 g ginger
• 50 g sugar
• 50 g MSG (seasoning)
• 50 g table salt
• 750 ml black vinegar
• 450 ml tomato ketchup
• 400 g honey
• 450 ml sunflower oil
• 50 g potato starch
Method
Heat oil in a wok.
Add dry chilli, sliced scallon, ginger-garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Add some water, black vinegar, ketchup & honey.
Bring to a boil.
Allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
Adjust thickness with potato starch.
Add seasoning and taste.
