Smoked Mince Samosa
Ingredients
• 500 g mutton/chicken or beef, mince
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 3-4 light green chillies, ground to paste
• 2 tsp red chilli powder
• 1 tsp jeera powder
• ½ tsp dhania powder
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
• ½ tsp haldi powder
• 2 tsp oil
• spring onion, optional
• coriander, finely chopped
• 1 pkt samosa patty, home-made or Switz (one pkt contains 25)
• oil for frying
• a little flour, mixed in water, to make a paste for sealing
• 2 medium-sized onions, finely minced
• 4 green onions
• 1 coal, for dhunger
Method
In a broad vessel, add together mince, ginger-garlic, chilli paste, salt, and cook on a high flame. Keep breaking the mince while cooking.
Add the powder masalas and cook until done, add little water if required. Add the onions and cook until the mixture is dry.
Give coal dhunger.
Add the coriander leaves and mix.
Fill in samosa patty and seal.
Deep-fry and serve with green chutney.
