Soraia: Bombay Buzz

Soraia

Tailored jackets, collared shirts and refined silhouettes set the tone for an intimate, elevated dining experience at this elegant restaurant designed by Gauri Khan. Part European garden, part Indian soul, Soraia is inviting in its verdant ambience and spacious seating, both indoors and al fresco. Step in, and note, flip flops are an absolute no-no.

There’s romance in the air at Soraia, a glasshouse dining concept that beckons the anxious diner to settle in and soothe the nerves, under the stars, and get immersed in the Omakase Bar experience or get lost in the Manhattan that’s your conversation starter for the night ahead.

From the First Flush, you have a Tomato Halwa, from the Seed a Vine & Burrata with candied beets, from the Lights, the Chilli Lime Crab with jalapeno jam and the Black Noir – an exquisite offering with liver parfait, black truffle and a whisky butter – are served. Feast on the luscious Gucchi Silk from the Fire, and the Braised Lamb with Stracciatella. The Coastal Tomato Fish with kori roti is refreshingly tangy, a part of the Earth, while the Sitafal Tres Leches and the Cocoa & Sin come to you from the Air.
