Mattu Shahi Maas Recipe
Ingredients
1 kg mutton, curry cut
4 onions, chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped
200 g garlic
50 g ginger, chopped
200 g green chilli, chopped
3 tbp red chilly powder
1/4th tbsp turmeric
3 tbsp coriander powder
250 g curd
1 tbsp whole garam masala
salt to taste
200 g cooking oil
Method
In a bowl, mix together all the spices, whole masalas, chopped onions, whole garlic, chopped ginger, green chilli, tomatoes, curd and oil.
Set aside for an hour to allow them to release their juices.
Cook on slow flame without any added water.
