Sahajan Chai

Moringa leaves (sahajan ke patte) are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals; actually it works as a multivitamin. If you feel tired at your workplace or home then you must start your day with a cup of Sahajan Chai every morning. It helps in increasing energy levels of the body, also giving relief from tiredness, weakness and fatigue.

Ingredients
• 1/2½cup fresh moringa or drumstick leaves or 1 tbsp powder
• 1” cinnamon (dalchini)
• 4 tsp honey (shehad)
• 4 cups water

Method
Take a teapot, add 4 cups water and let it boil. Once it boils, add crushed cinnamon and fresh drumstick leaves or 1 tbsp powder and infuse for two to three minutes. Turn off the flame.
Now add 1 tsp honey in each cup and strain the Sahajan Chai.
Stir well and serve hot.
