Cream Cheese Pasta
Ingredients
• 225 g any type of pasta
• 160 g Food Tree flavoured cream cheese of your choice
• 30 g Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 cup pasta water
• salt and pepper
Method
Cook your pasta till al dente. Reserve a cup of the boiled pasta water.
In a pan heat up your olive oil and gently fry the minced garlic on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Now stir in the flavoured cream cheese and half cup of boiled pasta water. Add in the grated Parmesan and stir all together to create a smooth creamy pasta sauce.
Your pasta sauce is now ready.
Drain and add your pasta to the sauce in the pan and stir well to evenly coat the pasta. Use a little bit more of the boiled pasta water for a smooth and creamy consistency.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and some grated Parmesan to boot.
