Mulberry Watermelon Canapé
Ingredients
• 15 fresh mulberries
• 4 slices seedless watermelon
• 2 freshly crushed black peppercorns
• freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lemon
• 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
• Himalayan salt to taste
• mint leaves for garnish
Method
Clean and wash mulberries and gently dry with a kitchen towel. Then keep aside.
Take a mixing bowl add hand-crushed mulberries, add freshly squeezed lemon juice, Himalayan salt and mix it well. Keep in the refrigerator.
Take seedless watermelon slices and give them shape with a cutter. You can use any shape as per your choice.
Now sprinkle Himalayan salt on watermelon and squeeze some lemon juice on it. Make sure salt and lemon juice are spread evenly on each slice of watermelon.
Now take a serving plate. Place watermelon base, then place mulberry mixture on top with the help of a spoon, then sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Serve fresh and cold.
