Ingredients
• 400 g refined flour
• 200 ml water
• 200 g melted butter
• salt to taste
Method
Sieve flour and salt.
Knead it with water and make a loose elastic dough.
Divide dough into 6 equal balls.
Rest dough in oil for 20 minutes.
Spread dough as thin as you can.
Spread butter generously and fold it inwards from 4 sides and make a square. Repeat folding bread inwards, then repeat this procedure again. Rest this for half an hour.
Shape this into shape of your choice.
Cook this in pre-heated oven at 220° C for approximately 7 minutes.
This fateer can be consumed with butter, molasses, honey, nuts, etc.
