Ingredients

makki atta (corn)

• salt

• a little sugar

ajwain (carom)

• cooking soda

Method

Mix the above ingredients with milk to form a rough dough. You can then form small flat cakes and bake in an oven if you like.

Traditionally, you put the cakes between khakre ke patte and roast on live coals.

When cooked, dip in ghee and serve with chicken curry or a dal for vegetarians.
