Burger Seigneur

This new place, a burger specialist, is on 80 Feet Road, Indira Nagar. There’s outdoor seating, welcoming but for the traffic sounds from the road. Inside, it’s done up in soothing tones of grey and green. There’s a little niche with comfy chairs and low tables.

This is a place with its concept clearly in place; it’s all about burgers and shakes. There are some sides, salads and desserts on the menu, but there’s no mistaking the focus on a small line-up hamburgers and getting them right. There are nine burgers on offer. Among them, the Paris Delice –beef patty, beef bacon, grilled mushrooms, the Trapper Creek –beef patty, lettuce, tomato, parsley, and a chicken burger called Hangover. The buns are soft and warm, the patties tender and the condiments of good quality.

For vegetarians there’s the Lucien with portobello mushrooms and sundried tomatoes and also a cheese patty burger. The burgers come with a pile of crinkle-cut chips.

Shakes are another speciality here and you should try the Cookies ‘n’ Cream shake which is just right with crunchy cookie bits in it. Burger Seigneur also serves a range of good quality coffees – classic and flavoured.

It’s self-service here. You make your choice and pay at a counter. The buzzer you are handed goes off when your order is ready.
