To be honest, highly expensive restaurants are a killjoy. You really have to be in that miniscule number, to ignore the details of a bill and just sign the check, nonchalantly, when presented with it at the end of the fancy meal. Or perhaps you are not even presented with the bill because you have a monthly account with the said restaurant and you are a regular there, entertaining your business associates. Company expense. Cool.

But having said that, we have to acknowledge these resturants have these exorbitant price lists because they are serving you super food which entails using expensive ingredients which are flown every few days from across half the world. And that costs money.

So to be fair to them and to you, if you have the big bucks, enjoy the meal, by all means. You deserve it!
